We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Special Education Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will support students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) by delivering specialized instruction, fostering a supportive learning environment, and collaborating with families and staff to promote student success.

Your Role
As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a key role in identifying student needs, developing individualized learning plans, and delivering services that help students reach their full potential. You will work closely with students, families, and staff to ensure compliance and excellence throughout the IEP process.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify student needs by conducting assessments and evaluations to determine eligibility for services
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
  • Provide direct instruction and services aligned with IEP goals
  • Monitor and assess student progress toward IEP objectives
  • Facilitate IEP meetings with families and stakeholders
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and team members
  • Fulfill mandated reporter responsibilities in accordance with laws and policies
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in special education or a related field (required)
  • Valid Wisconsin DPI License or ability to obtain within two (2) weeks of hire
  • Valid Special Education license preferred; candidates willing to obtain licensure with organizational support will be considered.
  • At least one (1) year of experience working with students (k-4-3rd) preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
  • Strong cultural competency and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid Wisconsin driver’s license, reliable transportation, and appropriate insurance
  • Ability to pass background checks and required pre-employment screenings

Work Environment
Work is performed primarily in classroom and school settings (Main Campus and/or Kinder Academy), with occasional local or statewide travel. Flexible hours may be required based on program…
