Elementary School Teacher

La Causa, Inc. seeks an Elementary School Teacher for our K-8 charter school serving diverse and largely Latino students in Milwaukee. In this role, you will plan and deliver standards-based instruction, differentiate for bilingual and special needs learners, and build a safe, engaging, and culturally responsive classroom. You will use assessment data to guide teaching, collaborate with specialists and families, and support students' academic, social, and emotional growth.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction for elementary students.
• Differentiate lessons to meet diverse and bilingual learner needs.
• Create a positive, culturally responsive, trauma-informed classroom environment.
• Assess student progress and use data to guide instruction.
• Communicate regularly with families and caregivers.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administrators.
• Implement IEP and accommodation plans as required.
• Participate in professional development and school initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records, grades, and documentation.
• Support school events and community-building activities.
