Position OverviewTeach one section of HIST 1202:
Art History II in person on T/TH 9:30-10:45 a.m. for the fall 2026 semester.
- Prepare and follow course syllabus
- Incorporate visits to the Haggerty Museum of Art in syllabus
- Relate course learning outcomes and assessments to department and Marquette Common Core standards with guidance from Department chair
- Prepare and administer assessments as determined by syllabus
- Grade student work and submit midterm and final grades
- Maintain two office hours per week (may be virtual)
Skills and Abilities
Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.
Preferred Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
PhD in Art History and previous experience teaching art history surveys with attention to global art and material culture.
Ability to include visits to relevant sites in Milwaukee.
