Bilingual Teacher

La Causa, Inc. seeks a Spanish to English Bilingual Teacher to provide rigorous, culturally responsive instruction to K-8 students in a community-focused charter school. The teacher will design standards-based lessons in both languages, support English learners, and use assessments to guide instruction. This role collaborates closely with families, student support staff, and community partners to promote academic and social-emotional growth. The ideal candidate is mission-driven, fluent in Spanish and English, and passionate about serving underserved and Latino communities in Milwaukee.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Spanish-English bilingual instruction for K-8 students aligned to state standards
• Differentiate lessons and supports for English learners and diverse learning needs
• Use data from assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction
• Create a culturally responsive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
• Collaborate with families, support staff, and community partners to support student success
• Maintain accurate records, grades, and documentation per school and nonprofit requirements
• Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives
• Support La Causa's mission to serve underserved and Latino communities
