Role Description The Math and Engineering Teacher is a full-time, on-site position located in Milwaukee, WI. This role is responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in mathematics and engineering, aligning instruction with school curriculum standards and best practices in STEM education. Daily responsibilities include designing and implementing lesson plans, assessing student learning, providing targeted support and enrichment, and maintaining an inclusive, well-managed classroom environment.

The teacher collaborates with colleagues on curriculum development, participates in professional learning and school-wide initiatives, and communicates regularly with families and staff to support student progress. The role also involves integrating Catholic values into the learning experience while fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in math and engineering contexts.
Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to teach a range of levels effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development that supports rigorous, student-centered learning.
  • Status as a Qualified Teacher, with appropriate teaching licensure or eligibility in mathematics or a related field.
  • Experience or interest in engineering concepts, STEM integration, and project-based learning in a school setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Engineering, or a closely related discipline; advanced degree is an asset.
  • Ability to create an inclusive classroom that supports diverse learning needs and promotes equitable access to STEM education.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills, with a commitment to ongoing professional growth.
  • Willingness to support the Catholic mission and values of the school community in a respectful and inclusive manner.
