The School District of Waukesha is seeking an experienced Student Information Systems
& Data Coordinator to serve as the district's functional leader and primary administrator
for Infinite Campus and student information operations.
This position sits at the intersection of technology, school operations, student services,
enrollment, teaching and learning, state reporting, and data.
Infinite Campus is one of the most important enterprise systems in our district. The
information maintained within it affects students, families, teachers, schools, state
reporting, scheduling, communications, assessment, accountability, and dozens of
connected applications.

Duties and Responsibilities- Serve as the district's primary functional administrator and system owner for Infinite Campus. structures, enrollment structures, user groups, and permissions.
- Coordinate annual school-year setup, rollover, and other major recurring SIS processes.
- Evaluate new Infinite Campus functionality and coordinate appropriate implementation.
- Coordinate testing and implementation of major configuration changes.
- Serve as the primary district liaison with Infinite Campus for functional system support.
- Serve as a primary district leader for WISEdata student reporting.
- Monitor the submission and validation of state-reported data.
- Coordinate resolution of WISEdata errors and data-quality concerns.
- Lead preparation for state snapshots, pupil counts, and other student-data reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with Enrollment, Student Services, Special Education, multilingual learner staff, Teaching & Learning, and school personnel to ensure accurate state reporting.
- Maintain awareness of DPI requirements and changes affecting student information.
- Establish and maintain district standards for student-data entry and management.
- Ensure district student-information practices support reliable reporting and downstream system use.
- Identify systemic data-quality concerns and coordinate corrective processes.
- Help determine the appropriate source of truth and business rules for student information.
- Partner with district leaders when operational practices require changes to SIS configuration or data-entry procedures.
- Coordinate annual calendar and school-year creation.
- Oversee student rollover and future-year setup.
- Support scheduling and enrollment processes from the district SIS perspective.
- Coordinate summer school configuration and related annual processes.
- Maintain a calendar of major SIS activities, reporting deadlines, and recurring responsibilities.
- Provide direction and priorities to the Student Data Quality & Operations Specialist.
- Establish repeatable operational procedures for student-data work.
- Develop appropriate cross-training so critical Infinite Campus functions can continue during staff absences.
- Support professional learning for school secretaries, registrars, and other Infinite Campus users.
- Build documentation that reduces reliance on individual institutional knowledge.
- Work closely with school administrators, enrollment personnel, secretaries, counselors, Student Services, Teaching & Learning, Business Services, and
