partners with
Ameri Corps to help students from low-income communities succeed in school and reach postsecondary success.;

• Mentor an assigned caseload of 15–25 “Dream Scholars” as a positive role model and guide
• Plan and lead in‑school and after‑school academic, social‑emotional, and enrichment activities
• Push into classrooms and tutor students one‑on‑one or in small groups
• Support volunteer tutors, mentors, and other program volunteers
• Engage parents through workshops, discussion groups, and program activities
• Build college and career awareness through job training and internship opportunities
• Maintain student records and support site office operations

• At least 17 (21+ preferred), with a high school diploma or GED
• U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or lawful permanent resident
• Able to pass required National Service Criminal History Checks
• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience in education or human services preferred
• Clean driving record and access to a vehicle required

• Part-time members serve a minimum of 18 hours per weekday
  , totaling 900 hours over your term.
• Pay: $10,800 pre-tax stipend, paid twice monthly at $450.00
  per pay period.
• Education Award:
  Upon successful completion of your service term, you’ll receive a Segal Education Award of $3,697.50.
• Eligible forbearance on qualified federal student loans, with interest potentially paid by the National Service Trust
• Child care assistance for eligible members
• Hands-on training, mentorship, and professional development throughout your term
