Ebenezer provides care and age-appropriate curriculum for children from 4 weeks to 12 years old. Experienced teaching staff are central to its programs, with centers located in Downtown Milwaukee, Southside Milwaukee, Oak Creek, and Wauwatosa.

The Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons and activities that support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Day-to-day tasks include creating a safe and engaging classroom environment, leading group and individual learning experiences, and monitoring each child’s progress. The Teacher communicates regularly with families and colleagues, documents observations, and follows center policies and licensing requirements. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with team members, participating in training and professional development, and contributing to center events and initiatives.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Milwaukee area at one of Ebenezer’s center locations.
- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with knowledge of child development and age-appropriate curriculum.
- Ability to design and implement effective Lesson Planning that supports diverse learning needs.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and team members.
- Experience in Training or mentoring others in classroom practices or child care procedures.
- Relevant coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Compliance with state child care licensing requirements and ability to pass necessary background checks.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Reliability, professionalism, and commitment to ongoing professional growth.
