Mechanical Design Engineer

Client is seeking a Hardware Engineer to evaluate the reliability of materials, properties, and techniques used in production. This role involves planning, designing, and developing electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry, mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging, and/or optical systems.

• Evaluate reliability of materials, properties, and techniques used in production
• Plan, design, and develop electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry, mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging, and/or optical systems
• Interact frequently with peers and customers to gain cooperation and present technical information and project activities
• Network with senior internal and external personnel within your area of expertise
• Work on issues of diverse scope requiring evaluation and analysis of identifiable data factors
• Demonstrate sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions
• Receive assignments in the form of objectives and determine the processes used to achieve goals
• Operate with minimal day-to-day supervision and general guidance on new assignments.

• Bachelor s Degree in Relevant field.

• Typically requires 5+ years relevant experience in Electronics Product Design.
• You have passion in hardware engineering. Have desired for continuous improvement in applying best practice and modern technologies in hardware design and processes.
• Background in VHDL or Verilog

• Memory system designs
• Design for circuits with FPGA/CPLD/PAL devices
• Ethernet and USB design, testing, certification
• Digital and analog electronics, power supply and I/O circuits
• Design tools for Schematic Capture and PCB Layout
• Board level and system level design verification test
• EMI noise reduction techniques/countermeasures for PCB layout
• Testing to EMC/EMI regulatory certifications
• Signal Integrity measurements using Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes
• Perform product testing for Environmental and Certification Test Standards
• Manage prototype build from BOM creation to build change requests
• Functional Safety product development with IEC
