Engineering Technician Level 3

Our client, a global firm manufacturing industrial drives for electronic equipment, is seeking an Engineering Technician III to join their team. As an Engineering Tech, you will be part of the Production Engineering Team supporting Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in supporting engineering activities such as design, test, check‑out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro‑mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment.

Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble‑shooting functions. Legal authorization to work in the US is required. Our client will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. Only candidates within reasonable commuting distance from the Milwaukee, WI metro area will receive consideration.

Engineering Technician III

$28-$33/hr plus OT, benefits

• Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
• Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions.
• Assists in the design, construction, test and check‑out of test equipment.
• Uses manufacturing, test, development or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus.

• Frequently interacts with peers and customers to exchange or present factual information.
• Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
• Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals.
• Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
