Engineering Manager; Test​/Manufacturing

Title: Engineering Manager (Testing/Manufacturing)

Pay: $130,000-$150,000

Schedule: Hybrid/Onsite

Teams/Engineering Functions: (Test, Manufacturing, NPI's, Maintenance)

Size of Team
: ~15 direct reports

Primary Goal: Maintain oversight across 3 sites and wrangle them in with the goal of building a strong team so no one site/location is unique over the others.

Responsible for electronic test engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, and NPI activities for the manufacturing of electronic assemblies. Leading cross-functional engineering teams.

Manages a variety of functions including Test Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Maintenance. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these teams. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline from a four-year college or university. An Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering background is preferred but not required as long as you have good experience and knowledge of electronics.
• Minimum of 5 years of related engineering managerial experience,
  ideally in electronics manufacturing or a related environment.
• Familiar with the concepts, practices, and procedures for manufacturing systems and test methodologies.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
