Our client, a global design & manufacturer of industrial drives, is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer (EE) to join their team. As a Hardware Development Engineer, you will be part of the Design Engineering Team supporting Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in evaluating reliability of materials, properties and techniques used in production. Plans, designs and developing electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry, mechanical systems, equipment and packaging, and/or optical systems.
This position has a contract status to start with eventual conversion to direct hire status as the intent. The role will not consider candidates with visa requirements and relocation will be on your own.
Job Title: Hardware Development Engineer
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Pay: $40-$45/hr. plus OT, benefits
Key Responsibilities- Microprocessor/Microcontroller system design
- Ethernet and USB design, testing, certification
- Digital and analog electronics, power supply and I/O circuits
- Design tools for Schematic Capture and PCB Layout
- Board level and system level design verification test
- Bachelor's Degree in Relevant field.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- Typically requires 5+ years relevant experience in Electronics Product Design.
- You have passion in hardware engineering. Have desired for continuous improvement in applying best practice and modern technologies in hardware design and processes.
- Background in VHDL or Verilog
