Responsibilities
  • Perform engineering assignments under the direct supervision of a licensed engineer
  • Design tasks involving judgment in evaluating, selecting and applying engineering techniques and procedures
  • Produce design drawings and construction documents using computer aided design and other design software
  • Prepare design and quantity calculations
  • Prepare specifications and contract documents
  • Coordinate with other disciplines as necessary
  • Coordinate the work of one or more Technical Specialists when required
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervising engineer
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
Required Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in engineering or related field of study or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 15 years of engineering experience in the discipline to be supported
  • Aptitude and hands-on experience with computer applications specific to the discipline
  • Extensive knowledge of industry standards specific to the discipline being supported
  • Proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary environments
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture

The expected compensation range for this position depends on skills, experience, education, and location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions; temporary and part-time roles may be eligible for limited benefits.) Minnesota: $113,631 - $162,330
