Position Summary
Join our dynamic team in Milwaukee, WI, where you will play a crucial role in the development activities of cutting-edge products. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting designs, enhancing testability, generating test plans, conducting validation/compliance tests, and creating essential design/product documentation. You will report directly to the Engineering Team Lead, Hardware, and contribute to improving performance, functionality, cost optimization, test efficiency, manufacturability, and quality of our products.

- Engage in microprocessor/microcontroller system design.
- Design memory systems and circuits with FPGA/CPLD/PAL devices.
- Conduct Ethernet and USB design, testing, and certification.
- Work with digital and analog electronics, power supply, and I/O circuits.
- Utilize design tools for schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Perform board-level and system-level design verification tests.
- Implement EMI noise reduction techniques and countermeasures for PCB layout.
- Test to EMC/EMI regulatory certifications.
- Conduct signal integrity measurements using network analyzers and oscilloscopes.
- Perform product testing for environmental and certification test standards.
- Manage prototype builds from BOM creation to build change requests.
- Contribute to functional safety product development with IEC
61508 standards.
Essentials:
- Bachelor s Degree in a relevant field.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (We do not sponsor employment visas for this position.)
Preferred:
- Typically requires 5 years of relevant experience in electronics product design.
- A strong passion for hardware engineering and a desire for continuous improvement.
- Experience with VHDL or Verilog.
