EHS Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement processes and technologies that support the organization's strategy, goals, and targets
• Administer the EHS information management system and lead improvement initiatives
• Oversee global site reporting requirements, report metrics and summarize trend analysis
• Develop and implement training programs
• Train associates on EHS management system elements and reporting applications
• Create EHS standards, procedures and related documents
• Conduct periodic systems and regulatory audits at manufacturing locations
• Respond to customer EHS requests and surveys

• Bachelor's degree in EHS or related fields
• 2+ years of progressive experience in an EHS corporate or manufacturing site role
• Must be a persistent self-starter who can work effectively and lead others with minimum oversight
• Incumbent must be able to work effectively with all levels of the organization and with individuals outside of the company
• Proficiency in the use of computers with knowledge of MS office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects
• Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and consensus standards (OSHA, EPA, DOT, NIOSH, ANSI, NFPA)
