PositionSummary
Efficiently executes a diverse range of moderate to highly complex hydrogeology and hydrology tasks across multiple projects, demonstrating strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt technical approaches to meet evolving project requirements and challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrates advanced scientific knowledge and applies systems thinking across disciplines.
- Acts as a subject matter expert, presenting technical work internally and externally.
- Oversees field data/sample maintenance, quality control, and performs data reporting, visualization, and regulatory documentation.
- Proficient with hydrogeology and analytical software; ensures high-quality deliverables.
- Leads coordination with multi-discipline teams, communicates technical concepts clearly in writing and verbally.
- Identifies risks and communicates issues proactively to supervisors.
- Develops project scopes, monitors schedules and budgets, supervises subcontractors, and may serve as Project Manager.
- Prepares project updates, status reports, and ensures deliverables meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
- Supports business development through proposals, client engagement, and industry thought leadership.
- Provides leadership by mentoring staff, driving operational improvements, and fostering lifelong learning.
- May monitor team timekeeping and project profitability; manages budgets and labor estimates.
- Builds strong client relationships through effective communication and networking.
- Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree preferred) and/or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience.
- Professional Geologist if appropriate.
- Engineering software, Microsoft Suite, Google Earth, Company Software (ERP, CRM, HRM etc.), ArcGIS and programming where applicable.
Physical Requirements
This role requires frequent travel to outdoor work sites and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, rough terrain, and physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 40 lbs., prolonged standing, or walking.
Travel RequirementsOccasional travel (up to 10%) for client meetings or site visits.
Salary Range$81,000 - $96,000
