BEPC is actively seeking a Chemistry Core 3 Milwaukee, WI area! W2 contract: 12 months w/ possible extensions Pay rate: $31-$34.87/hr
BEPC Inc. is seeking a Chemistry Core 3 to join our client’s innovative research and development team. This role is integral to advancing the clinical and non‑clinical development of new chemical products and solutions. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, synthesis, and optimization of compounds and materials while collaborating across multiple teams to drive sustainable production processes from concept to commercialization.
Key Responsibilities- Design and synthesize organic and organometallic compounds and materials.
- Utilize structure/property relationships, databases, and molecular modeling for multiparameter optimization.
- Stay current with the latest developments in process chemistry and apply innovations to new products.
- Lead or contribute to defined R&D projects, ensuring clear documentation and timely delivery.
- Develop and validate technical solutions, prototypes, and production processes.
- Collaborate with safety, quality, and marketing teams to support product launches.
- Provide technical support and training to production teams during technology transfer.
- Set up and execute small‑scale screening reactions and validate new process methodologies.
- Mentor junior R&D staff and foster technical excellence within the team.
- Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering,
or - Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with 3+ years of industrial experience in distillation or process development.
- Demonstrated experience in distillation of organic compounds and design of distillation processes.
- Knowledge of calculating theoretical plates and selecting appropriate column packing materials.
- Proficiency with Schlenk‑line, glove box, and air‑sensitive chemistry techniques.
- Experience with chemical manufacturing or process scale‑up.
- Strong understanding of Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical process control.
- Excellent technical writing and presentation skills.
