* A growing industrial manufacturer in the Greater Milwaukee area is looking for a Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer to take ownership of the electrical and controls side of a customized material handling product line used in warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and automated environments across North America.

This is a highly visible engineering role inside a collaborative, team-oriented environment where you'll have direct influence over:

+ Electrical systems

+ PLC programming

+ Controls architecture

+ Product improvements

+ Future technology direction

This is not a narrow support role buried inside a large organization.

You'll work across both hardware and software while helping drive modernization efforts tied to automation, smarter controls platforms, plug-and-play systems, and future connected technologies.

** What You'll Be Doing:*
* + Own the electrical and controls side of a customized industrial equipment product line

+ Modify and develop electrical schematics and controls systems

+ Program and troubleshoot PLC/HMI systems

+ Support migration to newer controls platforms and technologies

+ Work closely with mechanical engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, installers, and technical support teams

+ Support integration projects tied to conveyors, automation systems, and large-scale distribution environments

+ Help troubleshoot escalated field or installation-related electrical issues

+ Participate in new product development and future platform improvements

+ Collaborate with third-party panel suppliers and controls partners

* What We're Looking For:

*
* + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

+ 3+ years of electrical and/or controls engineering experience

+

Experience with PLC programming and industrial controls systems

+ Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting

+ Ability to work across both hardware and software aspects of controls engineering

+ Comfortable working in a hands-on, collaborative engineering environment

Experience with any of the following is helpful:

+ Allen Bradley

+ Omron

+ Horner

+ Studio 5000

+ Sysmac

+ HMIs

+ Ladder Logic

+ Material handling, conveyor, automation, or lift systems
