In this role, you will provide technical leadership and people-focused guidance for a team of Manufacturing Process Engineers supporting our EA Tubes business. You'll play a meaningful role in improving product quality, strengthening process stability, developing engineering talent, and supporting the plant's ability to grow and adapt for the future. * ** Responsibilities*
* + Work cross-functionally with QA, AME, and Engineering teams

+ Drive improved product quality by identifying manufacturing issues, developing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production.

+ Resolve manufacturing issues related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment, and product design

+ Provide inputs into DFM for new product introductions through process design, tool development, and new equipment

+ Drive better business decisions through process data and controls

+ Monitor and improve productivity, while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality and cost-conscious manner

+ Lead compliance efforts in support of plant goals. Provide team coaching on compliance documentation

+ Driving Lean Six Sigma implementation

+ Provide safe processes that comply with all local and federal regulations.  Assure that corrective and preventive actions are taken to resolve observed safety concerns in all areas

+ Be aware of, comply with, and provide input on the Quality Management System

** Required Qualifications*
* + B.S. Degree in Engineering or related technical degree and 3 years of experience, or an Associates Degree and 6 years experience in production or engineering

+

Good analytical , planning, interpersonal skills

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + M.S. Degree in Engineering or Business

+ Six Sigma Black Belt Certification

+ Demonstrated ability to identify & implement best practices

+ Demonstrated ability to perform with high levels of ambiguity

+ Previous people leadership and/or program management experience
