Job Description
As Regional Program Manager – Contract Manufacturing Organization, you will be responsible for managing the relationship between Rockwell Automation and our contract manufacturing partners in North America. You will facilitate the manufacturing of direct‑ship ETO solutions, driving performance to meet customer shipment deadlines and achieve target project costs. This leadership role has responsibility for partner execution, cost productivity, project management, and accountability for deadlines, results, and metrics.
You will serve as a central Operations interface, managing engagement with partners, engineering teams, and other departments to deliver cost‑effective and supply‑continuous solutions while mitigating supply chain risk.
Responsibilities- Lead contract manufacturing programs across the North American region.
- Manage relationships with external manufacturing partners, ensuring they meet Rockwell Automation’s quality, cost, delivery, and compliance standards.
- Align contract manufacturers with Rockwell’s operational and strategic goals, including capacity planning, risk management, and performance improvement.
- Collaborate with supply chain, sourcing, engineering, quality, and operations teams.
- Guide program execution and continuous improvement, helping scale production while controlling cost and mitigating supply risks.
- Ensure that Rockwell Automation’s outsourced manufacturing network in North America operates aligned with our goals.
- Participate in negotiating strategic agreements with partners.
- Ensure quality following Rockwell standards and expectations.
- Develop talent according to Rockwell’s Managerial Accountabilities.
- Collaborate with other regions in sharing and adopting best practices.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Minimum of 5 years management experience.
- Advanced degree in engineering, business, operations, supply chain, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment in supply chain, sourcing, or operations management.
- Industrial engineering experience in electrical assembly, automation solutions, or field engineering.
- Knowledge of project engineering processes and methodologies.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (IFS and SAP preferred).
- Experience in successful negotiations of legal contracts.
- Experience leading cross‑functional and multicultural teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Hybrid Working PolicyEmployees are expected to work onsite at a Rockwell location on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless they have a business obligation out of the office.
