Lead Project Scheduler

Foth is a 100% member-owned science and engineering consulting firm headquartered in Wisconsin.

In this role you will develop and maintain project schedules and cost controls for engineering and construction projects. You will spend approximately 75% of your time on scheduling responsibilities and the remaining 25% on cost controls, working through all phases from concept to completion with the goal of delivering projects within scope, schedule, and budget.

• Develop and maintain project schedules using scheduling software tools.
• Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor project progress and update schedules accordingly.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Prepare regular status reports and communicate schedule updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets.
• Monitor and track project expenditures.
• Support the analysis of cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Contribute to the development of cost control policies and procedures.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of professional experience in Project Controls or Project Planning & Controls roles.
• Experience leading scheduling efforts on engineering projects over $500,000 and construction projects over $5M.
• Proven track record in handling complex financial data sets and integrating them into existing MS Project dashboards.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the procurement process and the ability to translate data into tracking tools.
• Experience with Oracle Primavera Cloud, Primavera P6, or MS Project scheduling software.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including data analysis, conditional formatting, data validation, and pivot tables.

• Advanced MS Excel skills, including the creation and utilization of complex formulas, lookup functions, and integration of data sets into existing Excel files.
• General understanding of Power BI, with future utilization of Power BI dashboards.
• Experience with multiple ERP systems, including Deltek Vision and/or VantagePoint.
• PSP and/or AACE certifications are a plus but not required.

Base compensation ranges from $85,000 to $125,000 per year, depending on experience, location, level of responsibility, and applicable licenses or certifications. Additional earnings may include base bonuses through the Earned Performance Incentive program and on-the-spot bonuses. Exempt members may receive quarterly or annual bonuses. Full- and part-time members that are eligible for regular full-time status are also eligible for paid time off.
