- Design, develop, and validate telematics systems for connected vehicle platforms.
- Support development and integration of Telematics Control Units (TCUs).
- Implement and troubleshoot vehicle communication protocols including:
- CAN / CAN FD
- Ethernet
- LIN
- UART / SPI / I2C
- Develop and validate connected vehicle features including:
- Vehicle health monitoring
- GPS tracking
- Remote start/lock features
- OTA/FOTA updates
- Fleet telemetry
- Work with OBD-II and UDS diagnostics for ECU communication and fault monitoring.
- Support integration of wireless technologies:
- LTE / 5G
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth
- GNSS/GPS
- Perform CAN logging, signal analysis, and communication debugging using Vector tools.
- Collaborate with cloud and backend teams for telemetry data integration and connected services.
- Conduct vehicle-level testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
- Analyze vehicle data and perform root cause analysis for communication and system issues.
- Support cybersecurity implementation for connected vehicle systems.
- Prepare technical documentation, interface specifications, and validation reports.
- Participate in vehicle integration and field testing activities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechatronics
- or related field
- 2–5+ years of experience in telematics, automotive embedded systems, or connected vehicle technologies.
- Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols and diagnostics.
- Experience with embedded firmware/software development using C/C++.
- Knowledge of connected vehicle architectures and telematics platforms.
