Non‑Licensed A&P Mechanic – Prior Military Experience – Various Locations
Textron Aviation is hiring a full‑time aircraft mechanic to serve in various locations. We offer a two‑week prep course and pay to obtain Airframe and Powerplant certifications within 90 days of hire, making this role ideal for veterans with prior military aircraft maintenance experience.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of mechanical duties, including diagnosis of malfunctions, required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery to customers.
- Perform turbine engine troubleshooting, inspection, repair, and engine run‑ups.
- High school education or GED required.
- Must have hours of On‑the‑Job training (MOS/NEC/AFSC) reviewed and evaluated by an FAA Flight Standards District Office (FSDO).
- Must be able to test for Airframe and/or Powerplant ratings within 90 days of starting.
Note: The FAA will not authorize you to test for your Airframe and/or Powerplant ratings because you served in the military. You must have the required time spent working in military aircraft maintenance to be considered for this program.
This role is eligible for up to a $15,000 (pre‑tax) sign‑on bonus based on level of experience. Terms & conditions apply.
