TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform field survey work, including network control surveys, right of way plats, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, construction surveys, 3D modeling, and LIDAR scanning.
Perform field investigations and surveys to support the creation and maintenance of digital base mapping and parcel mapping.
Use various surveying programs to gather, review and process field data.
Assist with survey control, quality assurance survey, and volume computations.
Assist with conducting construction modeling, staking, and file recordkeeping.
Use 3D technologies to identify and resolve conflicts.
Assist with conducting topographic mapping, scanning, and modeling.
Perform mathematical computations concerning survey measurements and land records.
Maintain survey field notes, sketches and other documentation.
Maintain, prepare and use surveying equipment.
Actively observe and act in an appropriate manner related to safety.

EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE:
Working towards an associate’s degree in surveying or CAD technology or related field
Working knowledge of Survey data collection procedures
Experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or Micro Station Experience with Trimble robotic and GPS equipment PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
