NPI Materials Intern

Responsibilities

• Manage the materials development room for Controls Engineering: receive, inventory, track, kit, and label development materials for engineering builds, testing, and prototyping.
• Manage NPI part material storage and movement: ship, label, and track all material for product development.
• Support material movement, storage, and tracking to the new lab location (Summer 2026).
• Support and maintain NPI material data through Excel queries, pivot tables, and database creations.
• Place orders and inventory engineering experimental material to support New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Manage part movement between NPI build sites to support scheduled builds.

• Currently enrolled as a full‑time student at a four‑year college.
• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or Business.
• Effective communicator at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.

• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to change.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.

• Hourly range: $19.00 – $24.00 (based on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities).
