We are seeking a Injection Molding Process Engineer to support a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining robust molding processes to ensure consistent product quality, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement, with the ability to collaborate across teams and drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, optimize, and maintain injection molding processes for high-quality production
- Lead process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and maintain supporting documentation
- Analyze and improve processes to enhance efficiency, cycle time, and yield
- Troubleshoot molding issues and perform root cause analysis to implement corrective actions
- Monitor and control process parameters (temperature, pressure, speed, cooling, etc.)
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support new and existing programs
- Support new product launches, tooling trials, and process development
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S)
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs, and safety requirements
Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in injection molding or plastics manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of process development, optimization, and troubleshooting injection molding processes.
- Experience with process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
- Familiarity with plastics, polymers, and plastic processing and material handling
- Ability to analyze data and improve process performance
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (medical, ISO, FDA, GMP)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Exposure to scientific molding, DOE, or SPC
- Experience with automation or auxiliary equipment
- Background in cleanroom or precision manufacturing environments
- Lead process improvement initiatives and drive operational excellence
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams
- Support and mentor technicians on process best practices and troubleshooting
- Communicate effectively to implement and sustain process improvement.

- Hands-on role involving equipment, tooling, and process development
- May involve working in regulated or cleanroom environments
