Key Responsibilities
- Develop electrical schematics for embedded controllers, displays, and electronic products utilizing microcontrollers, microprocessors, and application-specific I/O.
- Perform circuit analysis and simulation to optimize electrical designs for functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Support PCB layout activities and ensure designs meet industry standards and best practices.
- Execute design verification, validation testing, and product qualification activities.
- Collaborate with software and mechanical engineering teams on system integration efforts.
- Partner with manufacturing to support efficient production, cost objectives, and product quality.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, test reports, engineering change orders, and user documentation.
- Support sustaining engineering efforts including troubleshooting field issues, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and component obsolescence management.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in embedded electronics, vehicle controls, power electronics, and wireless communications.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience designing embedded electronic hardware products.
- Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB design tools such as OrCAD or Altium.
- Hands‑on experience using laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators.
- Experience with microcontroller‑ and microprocessor‑based product development.
- Experience with power electronics.
- Experience with wireless technologies such as Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi.
- Background in vehicle electronics, mobile equipment, industrial controls, or related embedded systems.
- Experience supporting products through both development and sustaining engineering activities.
This opportunity is best suited for engineers with experience developing embedded electronic products, particularly those involving controllers, displays, industrial equipment, commercial vehicles, mobile machinery, IoT devices, or other hardware/software integrated systems. Candidates should be comfortable working at the intersection of electrical hardware, embedded systems, and product development.

This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
