Mechanical Engineer P5, Senior
- Process Piping focus
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer in our downtown Milwaukee Corporate Headquarters office.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Developing drawings, P&IDs, and specifications for process and utility piping including piping materials, insulation, hangers and supports, piping fabrication and post-installation procedures for utility systems such as water for injection, USP purified water, deionized water, sterile gases, clean steam, clean-in-place, steam-in-place systems, plumbing, waste systems, HVAC heating/cooling water systems, and campus/plant steam systems.
- Perform project management and mentorship of junior engineers.
- Coordinate between multiple disciplines and attend regular meetings.
- Perform computer-aided drafting using Revit and design for various projects.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant design experience.
- Knowledge of ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, and ASME BPE codes and standards.
- Understanding and experience in performing piping stress analysis calculations.
- Commissioning experience would be a plus.
- Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office products.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently are crucial.
