Associate Cad Design Engineer

Associate Cad Design Engineer to support the design and development of motorcycle components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Creo Cad software and expertise in designing plastic, soft foam, and metallic components. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to develop innovative, manufacturable, and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D Cad models and 2D engineering drawings using Creo.
• Design and develop plastic, soft foam, and metallic components for motorcycle applications.
• Support product development from concept through production.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Perform engineering change management and maintain Cad documentation.
• Review component designs for fit, form, function, tolerance, and assembly requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and implement feedback.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in Cad design engineering.
• Proficiency in Creo (Parametric) for 3D modeling and drafting.
• Experience designing plastic, soft foam, and metallic components.
• Understanding of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and engineering drawing standards.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive, motorcycle, or heavy equipment industry.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
• Familiarity with injection molding, sheet metal, castings, and foam manufacturing processes.
