Civil Designer
We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil Designer to support our engineering and design team in preparing accurate construction drawings and plans for civil infrastructure projects. This role will focus on site development, utilities, grading, and roadway projects, working closely with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality designs.
Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and plans using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
Assist in the development of site layouts, grading plans, utility plans, and roadway designs
Review and revise drawings based on engineer redlines and project requirements
Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other disciplines to ensure accurate and complete documentation
Maintain drawing standards, file organization, and project documentation
Support the preparation of construction documents and permit submittals
Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with project deliverables as needed
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required)
Strong understanding of civil design principles and drafting standards
Knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and site development preferred
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Good communication and teamwork skills
Associate degree or technical certificate in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field
Experience with survey data, GIS, or construction practices is a plus

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
