+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

+ Strong in power electronics design, including converters and related hardware.

+ Solid understanding of basic physics and electronics fundamentals.

+ Strong knowledge of high-frequency power stages, filtering, circuit protection, thermal management, and EMI/EMC considerations.

+ Proficiency with Matlab, Simulink, and Sim Power Systems for modeling, simulation, and analysis of power electronic systems.

+ Demonstrated experience with product development processes, from concept through validation and release.

+ Minimum 4 years of related experience in power electronics and control systems design.

+ Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

+ Ability to work independently, take ownership of assignments, and consistently meet deadlines.

+ Strong process orientation and discipline, with demonstrated use of structured problem-solving tools such as 5-Why Analysis, 8D methodologies, and six sigma approaches.

+ Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork in a technical environment.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Master's degree in power electronics is highly desirable.

+ More than 5 years of industry experience in power converter development as a new product development (NPD) or research and development (R&D) engineer.

+ At least 5 years of experience in design, testing, and debugging of DC-DC or three-phase AC-DC converters with voltage ranges of approximately 400-900 V and power levels above 2 kW.

+ Experience in the design and selection of power semiconductor devices, cooling mechanisms, passive components, protection circuits, and sensing circuits.

+ Understanding of PCB layout design techniques for high-voltage, high-density power electronics.

+ Familiarity with UL1741 standards for grid-connected power converter systems.

+ Knowledge of typical safety and EMI standards applicable to power converter products.

+

Experience with EMC requirements and filter design to meet regulatory and customer specifications.

+ Understanding of hardware-mechanical interfaces and hardware-software interfaces in integrated systems.

+ Ability to apply fundamental analytical equations for high-frequency inductor and transformer design.

+ Experience coordinating and communicating with multiple vendors and cross-functional teams in a power electronics environment.
