Our Madison team is growing its client base and expanding its impact across Wisconsin, the Midwest, and beyond. As a Professional Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on a diverse range of municipal and private-sector projects, supporting clients such as local governments, utilities, food and beverage manufacturers, and industrial facilities. You'll gain hands-on experience in planning, design, and engineering analysis while contributing to solutions for complex wastewater treatment and water quality challenges.

We bring together experts across disciplines to deliver innovative, practical solutions and exceptional client service. • Coordinate the work of the wastewater design team through the schematic design development and contract document phase of a project
• Establish meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
• Coordinate workload to complete the document on schedule
• Conduct work sessions at the project site in conjunction with the Project Manager and other disciplines
• Review process mechanical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines
• Write and edit process mechanical specifications, select equipment, treatment systems, and devices
• Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders, and take responsibility to incorporate agreed-upon changes into the project documents
• Provide construction contract administration as needed
• Conduct QA/QC on the work of other Wastewater Process Mechanical Project Engineers, Project Coordinators or CAD Technicians as needed
• Perform other duties as needed

• Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related Engineering field
• 10+ years of experience with municipal or industrial wastewater treatment and treatment process design
• Experience working on municipal wastewater projects
• Experience working on food and beverage, manufacturing, life sciences, semiconductor, data center, or other industrial wastewater projects
• Experience working on large multidisciplinary wastewater projects

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
• A minimum of 10 years experience with Municipal Water and Wastewater Systems Planning and Design
• Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example:
  Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
• Strong technical background and experience in designing water distribution systems
• Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Micro Station and hydraulic modeling software
• Project Engineering and Project Management experience is necessary
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
