Jacobs is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing Municipal Infrastructure team in Wisconsin. This is an opportunity to lead high-impact projects that improve the transportation networks and public infrastructure serving communities throughout southeastern and south-central Wisconsin.

In this role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to municipal clients, leading the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects including local roadway improvements, utility reconstruction, WisDOT Connecting Highway projects, and other municipal capital improvement initiatives. You'll work directly with city, village, town, and county stakeholders while guiding multidisciplinary teams through project planning, design, construction, and closeout.

We're looking for a proven municipal project leader who enjoys building client relationships, developing business opportunities, mentoring technical staff, and driving project success. What You'll Do

-    Lead and manage a portfolio of municipal infrastructure projects from planning through construction.

-    Serve as the primary client contact and trusted partner for municipalities throughout Wisconsin.

-    Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and overall project performance.

-    Manage multidisciplinary teams across transportation, utilities, stormwater, and civil infrastructure projects.

-    Develop and strengthen relationships with municipal clients, stakeholders, and agency partners.

-    Support and lead business development efforts, including client engagement, proposal development, and strategic pursuit planning.

-    Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts while growing new municipal partnerships.

-    Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for roadway, utility, and municipal infrastructure projects.

-    Coordinate with WisDOT, local agencies, utility companies, regulatory organizations, and community stakeholders.

-    Mentor and develop junior engineers and project managers, helping build the next generation of municipal leaders.

-    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

-    Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wisconsin or ability to obtain through reciprocity.

-    Minimum of 15 years of experience delivering municipal infrastructure projects, including project management responsibilities.

-    Demonstrated success managing project budgets, schedules, staffing, and client expectations.

-    Experience working directly with municipalities and public-sector clients.

-    Strong understanding of municipal design standards, funding programs, and project delivery processes.

-    Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

-    Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

-    Experience supporting business development, client relationship management, and proposal pursuits.

-    Direct experience managing local roadway, utility, and WisDOT Connecting Highway projects.

-    Established relationships with municipal clients throughout southeastern and south-central Wisconsin.

-    Familiarity with WisDOT, City of Milwaukee, City of Madison, and other regional municipal standards and specifications.

- Experience with roadway reconstruction, stormwater management, utility improvements, and capital improvement programs.

-    Knowledge of municipal funding programs, permitting requirements, and construction administration.

-    Track record of winning work and growing municipal client accounts.
