. This internship offers first-hand experience in municipal, transportation, and site development projects, providing an opportunity to deepen your understanding of civil engineering in a professional setting.
Internship Relocation Support
The Evans Scholars Internship Opportunity Fund ( ES IOF) has been created to help Scholars pursue meaningful internships by easing financial barriers. The ES IOF helps offset costs associated with unpaid internships and housing relocation.
Job Responsibilities- Provide construction observation and/or survey assistance with a project mentor
- Support design projects in preparing plans, collecting data, writing reports and computing quantities
- Assist with putting together bid package specifications
- Perform other routine civil engineering support tasks under the direction of an engineer
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- GPA of 3.0 or greater
- Previous Civil Engineering experience through an internship or co-op
