In this fast-paced, high energy environment where great guest service is essential, how do we ensure all of our Players Club guests are happy with our service? As a Players Club Host, you will have a genuine passion for guest service, top-notch organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (
* Essential Functions)
  • * Promote the Players Club by identifying, developing, and retaining casino guests with a strong emphasis on new club membership and superior guest service.
  • * Greet guests with a smile to establish rapport. Act as a guest service role model to assess, anticipate, and attend to guest needs or concerns in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • * Communicate benefits and amenities of the Players Club program effectively, issue new/replacement cards, and demonstrate card usage.
  • * Act as a resource to guests and team members by maintaining thorough knowledge of the facility, gaming options, special events, promotions, and other amenities.
  • * Create and manage guest accounts using Potawatomi Casino Hotel (PCH) computer systems. Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of all guest data.
  • * Work on the casino floor for predetermined shifts acquiring new Players Club memberships and creating general awareness of the Players Club.
  • * Market PCH promotions and assist with special promotional events, player parties, drawings, and issuance of promotional amenities.
  • Issue limited complimentary services or items to casino guests within established guidelines.
  • Sell, print, and issue Bingo gift certificates.
  • Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Job Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent and previous high volume customer service is required.
  • Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Prior experience with data entry and/or casino management systems preferred.
  • The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
  • The ability to interact with guests and team members in a professional manner.
  • The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move freely throughout the office and property for duration of scheduled shift. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The team member must be able to operate a personal computer.

    The team member is required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds occasionally. Team member must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Working Conditions

    The noise level is usually moderate to loud. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases. The facility is not smoke free.
