Overview
Domino’s Pizza is hiring Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to work in store locations. The position is available for part‑time or full‑time work and is suitable for students, side‑job seekers, or those looking to advance within the company.
Key Responsibilities- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Orientation and training will be provided on the job.
Communication Skills- Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
- Make correct monetary change.
- Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Maintain motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Employees will be exposed to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas, with sudden changes in temperature while inside or outside. Other exposures include fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces and tools (up to 500°F), and sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Physical Requirements- Standing – Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
- Walking – For short distances and durations; surfaces include ceramic tile with linoleum in some food process areas. Work surfaces are between 36" and 48" high.
- Sitting – Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
- Lifting – Bulk product deliveries (up to 50 lb cases, dimensions up to 3′ × 1.5′) are unloaded with a hand truck and may be stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.
- Carrying – Large cans (3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lb), and trays of pizza dough (12 lb each, three at a time) are carried from the workstation to storage shelves or front of the store.
- Pushing – Trays on dollies (24–30” long) require a force of up to 7.5 lb to push; trays may also be pulled.
- Climbing – Infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder for maintenance tasks.
- Stooping/Bending – Forward bending at the waist during pizza assembly (30–45 s at a time, repeated throughout the day) and stocking tasks.
- Crouching/Squatting – Performed occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
- Reaching – Continuous reaching up, down, and forward; occasionally up to 72 in. to turn oven controls or handle toppings.
- Hand Tasks – Eye‑hand coordination essential; continuous use of hands, forearms, and wrists for shaping dough, manipulating a pizza peel and rolling cutter, and assembling cardboard pizza boxes.
- Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids – Use of pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.
