Installer Service Specialist
The Installer Service Specialist is an experienced and technical parts specialist who services the needs of professional customers through the store’s installer counter, ensuring accurate and timely order deliveries.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain sales relationships with installers and professional customers.
- Take customer orders accurately over the phone and online, invoice orders, and ensure proper pick and staging of parts for delivery.
- Route delivery specialists to deliver orders consistently and on time.
- Maintain delivery vehicles according to company standards and complete vehicle inspections on schedule.
- Enter daily mileage into the delivery fleet management device.
- Collaborate with Sales Specialists and Territory Sales Managers to provide superior service to professional customers.
- Verify all products, merchandise, warranty parts and cores are billed before customers leave the store.
- Pick up and credit new core and warranty returns promptly.
- Audit customer returns for warranty abuse and ensure items are correctly labeled.
- Assist on the front counter and retail counter as needed.
- Help with back‑room duties, including auto‑load, returns, and stock management.
- Process customer labor claims quickly and efficiently.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Strong background in automotive mechanics.
- Above average communication skills.
- Hands‑on knowledge of automotive repairs (desired).
- A.S.E. certification (desired).
- Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish, is highly desired.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged.
