Production Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in live event production to lead a production crew and take ownership of events from pre-production through onsite execution. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, sees the big picture, and knows how to keep teams, equipment, logistics, and timelines moving together.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Leading, scheduling, training, and developing a production crew of 6–10 team members
• Planning equipment, labor, logistics, and technical needs for assigned events
• Overseeing event prep, equipment quality control, truck loading, load-ins, show execution, strikes, and load-outs
• Leading onsite production teams and ensuring events stay on time and on scope
• Coordinating event details, floor plans, technical diagrams, and run-of-show needs with internal teams
• Identifying potential production challenges and developing solutions before events
• Taking ownership and accountability for assigned events from pre-production through completion
• Helping develop SOPs, improve production processes, and train team members accordingly

Who You Are

• Experienced leader with a strong background in live event production, AV, lighting, staging, or related technical production
• Comfortable leading and developing teams in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple events, schedules, equipment needs, and priorities
• Proactive problem-solver who can anticipate challenges and make confident production decisions
• Strong communicator who works professionally with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams
• Hands-on and comfortable supporting event installations, load-ins, show operations, strikes, and load-outs
