Description

We are seeking an experienced Contract-to Hire Controller to support the launch and growth of a new manufacturing operation in the United States. The company is headquartered outside of the U.S. and is in the early stages of establishing its U.S. footprint. This role will play a critical part in building the financial infrastructure, establishing controls and policies, and supporting manufacturing operations from day one.

This is a highly hands-on role requiring deep manufacturing and cost accounting expertise, strong ERP experience (SAP), and the ability to work cross-functionally with both U.S.

-based and international leadership. Fluency in Chinese is required to effectively partner with headquarters.

Financial Operations &  Close

Lead all accounting and finance activities for the U.S. manufacturing entity

Establish and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company standards

Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and local service providers

Manufacturing &  Cost Accounting

Build and maintain cost accounting structures, including standard costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation, and overhead absorption

Partner closely with plant operations to support production reporting, inventory controls, and margin analysis

Develop KPIs and reporting to support operational and financial decision-making

Collaboration

Act as a key financial liaison between U.S. operations and international headquarters

Communicate clearly and effectively in Chinese and English with senior leadershi

Requirements - Fluency in Chinese is required.

- Proven experience in manufacturing environments, with a focus on financial operations.

- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.

- Proficiency in SAP systems and cost accounting.

- Ability to develop financial models and analyze complex data.

- Familiarity with global manufacturing practices and organizational development.

- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
