Senior Tax Services Lead

Overview

The Senior Fund Tax Specialist/Lead will assist with the oversight of all tax-related activities for our mutual fund operations. This role involves ensuring compliance with tax regulations and optimizing tax strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience in mutual fund taxation and strong communication skills. We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 4 days per week.

Location(s):
Boston, MA, or Milwaukee, WI.

• Ensure all mutual fund tax filings are accurate and timely, including federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Oversee the preparation of tax provisions and disclosures for financial statements.
• Complete tax reclaim documentation.
• Assist with oversight of tax compliance and reporting for Luxembourg investment products.
• Participate in special projects, including but not limited to fund mergers, in‑kind redemptions and new product launches.
• Maintain a proactive relationship with Product, Investments, and Legal.

• 4+ years of experience in mutual fund tax, accounting or finance (or related field).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail‑oriented.
• Ability to change priorities quickly.
• Team‑oriented attitude.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office, Word, MS Outlook and Excel.

Base Pay Range: $130,000 - $160,000. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary bonus programs, or other annual or non‑annual incentive or sales plans).
