• Preparation of GAAP financial statements and supplemental financial reports for private equity (PE) owners, bank lenders, and Executive management.
• Lead the accounting team by bringing the technical know-how to interact and interface with auditors and continue to develop the accounting team.
• Interact effectively with all department leaders within the company, this role needs a desire to deepen relationships with internal and external partners of the organization
• Direct and validate all accounting activities including labor distribution, inventories, general receipts, scrap, rework, too-die-maintenance, accounts receivable, accounts payable, production order variances and fixed assets transactions and journal entries. (Includes monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.)
• Identify and resolve reporting discrepancies and concerns involving system processing or plant policies and procedures.
• Analyze monthly plant financial results. Initiate and implement cost reduction recommendations in both product and operations. Explain variances and corrective action taken to eliminate unfavorable variances or maintain favorable variances.
• Ensure the integrity of plant product costs by generating and reviewing monthly weighted cost reports. Make recommendations and focus plant management on products or product groups that need improvement.

• Detail orientated ability, but also having the big picture in mind and the ability to present financials to owners.
• Experience working for a Private Equity or holding owned Company ideally
• Manufacturing experience is ideal
• Proven ability to design, implement, and lead process improvements.
