Responsibilities

  • Process and maintain investor registers and documentation for the funds we administer.
  • Ensure that existing and prospective investors meet eligibility, compliance and anti‑money laundering ("AML") guidelines when processing investor‑related transactions such as subscriptions, redemptions, transfers and re‑registrations.
  • Reconcile trade information against clients’ expected transactions and monies received from investors.
  • Write and orally correspond with the fund and investors regarding AML documentation and transactions.
  • Work closely with the legal/compliance team as needed.
  • Serve as a resource for client and investor inquiries regarding their transactions and documentation outside of the trade processing cycle.
  • Maintain a basic understanding of USBFS Alternative Investment ("AI") business, core services of AI and ancillary products and services provided to the AI client base.
  • Provide monthly investor services data in SOC1 checklists for applicable funds.
  • Address investor inquiries/requests:
    • Ensure all investor queries and requests are received from authorized individuals.
    • Respond to investor/client queries promptly.
    • Process requests for investor statements.
    • Process requests/updates for transaction activities.
    • Process fund related performance requests.
    • Facilitate completion of investor audit requests.
  • Process capital activity: subscriptions, redemptions and transfers; coordinate the collection of fully executed documents with investors; collect and review all appropriate Tax/FATCA documentation from investors; collect and review all appropriate AML/KYC documentation from investors.
  • Report: distribute investor reports (Investor Statements, Contract Notes, Capital Call Notices, Distribution Notices); distribute client reports (Capital Activity Reports, Audited/Unaudited Financial Statements, Investor Letters, Schedule K‑1’s); review incoming subscription funding from investors; prepare wire transfers to prime brokers and investors.
  • Understand policies and procedures of the AI department, information flow through the various AI systems, and how to use the relevant systems.
  • Communicate information carefully to manage client relationships, actively listen to obtain information and understand client needs, and produce clear, professional, and grammatically correct written correspondence.
Qualifications
  • Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a business‑related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Two to five years of related experience, preferably in portfolio/partnership accounting.
  • Preferred Skills /

    Experience:
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
    • Ability to perform research and analysis.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while participating in a team environment.

Pay Range: $66,640.00 – $78,400.00
