Tax Manager

Our client, a leading and highly desired organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Tax Manager, you will be an integral part of the finance department supporting the company's tax strategy and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Support, monitor, and develop the organization's federal income tax strategy to optimize tax benefits and minimize liabilities.

+ Oversee the implementation, documentation, and continual improvement of US income tax accounting and compliance processes.

+ Coordinate and review US federal and state income tax provision computations ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

+ Manage US income tax filings, deadlines, and related recordkeeping obligations.

+ Lead and support tax audits, including data collection, analysis, and communication with tax authorities and external consultants.

** What's Needed?*
* + Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

+ Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in income tax, preferably with a public accounting firm or global company.

+ Strong leadership, mentoring, and process management skills.

+ Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.

+

Experience with tax compliance software such as One Source, Pro Systems, or Corptax, and familiarity with financial systems like SAP or Hyperion.
