What you’ll be doing
As a Relationship Manager / Senior Relationship Manager, you’ll focus on growing direct revenue, retaining high‑net‑worth client relationships, and expanding business within your portfolio.
How you’ll succeed- Manage client relationships – oversee a portfolio to ensure client retention and business growth while aligning with client investment objectives and organizational policies.
- Expand your portfolio – acquire new high‑net‑worth clients with complex financial needs by engaging in targeted business development activities and collaborating with Business Development Officers.
- Drive profitability – achieve revenue goals, control expenses, and monitor profit performance, taking corrective actions as necessary.
- Deliver exceptional service – foster a service culture by leveraging expertise in investment and wealth advisory services to provide best‑in‑class relationship management.
- Engage in client events – actively participate in client‑focused events to enhance business development efforts and strengthen relationships.
- Collaborate effectively – build strong internal partnerships to deliver seamless, professional, and timely client service.
- Ensure compliance – implement and maintain effective operational and compliance risk controls.
- Educational background – holding a bachelor’s degree and/or advanced certifications such as MBA, CFA, CPA, CFP, or JD.
- Wealth management expertise – 10–15+ years of experience in portfolio management, wealth management, personal tax, or financial planning, and a comprehensive understanding of investment products and strategies for sophisticated high‑net‑worth clients.
- Financial savvy – using strong financial analysis skills to provide expert advice on complex and high‑value client relationships, and excel as a relationship builder by making persuasive recommendations tailored to client needs.
- Communication – thrive in presenting to small or large groups and use excellent writing skills to craft professional proposals and presentations.
- Strategic negotiator – leverage advanced negotiating and influencing skills to identify opportunities for business development.
- Service‑oriented – operate with professionalism, sound judgment, and a focus on client success, while maintaining a thorough understanding of operational, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

Expected salary range: $160,000–$215,000 for the Milwaukee, WI market based on experience, qualifications, and location. May be eligible to participate in incentive compensation plan, including discretionary bonus.
