Role Summary
Commercial Relationship Specialist to support commercial banking clients throughout the loan closing and portfolio management process. Partner with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, and internal teams to deliver accurate, timely, high‑quality client support.
Key Accountabilities- Coordinate loan closing activities, including due diligence, documentation review, funding support, and ongoing maintenance.
- Analyze customer financial and collateral reports to support portfolio monitoring and risk management activities.
- Process daily banking transactions and maintain accurate client and portfolio information within internal systems.
- Partner with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, operations teams, and outside counsel to resolve issues and support client needs.
- Deliver responsive customer service by addressing client inquiries and assisting with fraud, overdraft, and wire‑related requests.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies, legal documentation requirements, and commercial banking procedures.
- Support reporting, tracking, and portfolio administration activities to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Contribute to team projects, process improvements, and ongoing learning and development initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2 years of banking or office experience with knowledge of banking products, services, procedures, and loan documentation.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high‑quality customer service.
- Experience with commercial loan documentation, monitoring, and closing activities.
- Familiarity with systems such as Ambit Commercial Lending System, Core Bank, Sales Pro, and Stucky.
- Experience supporting commercial banking portfolios or complex client relationships.
Pay range: $17.70 - $30.35 per hour. Actual pay may vary based on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications.
