Trading Specialist

Overview

Support Wealth Management & Investment Services (WMIS) operations by processing mutual fund and money market trades for a variety of client accounts. Collaborate with trust administration, investment officers, trade services teams, and external partners to ensure trades are completed accurately and efficiently. Build and maintain strong relationships with mutual fund companies and service providers while delivering high-quality client support.

• Provide operational support for WMIS client accounts and investment products of varying complexity. Assist with account setup, securities maintenance, and asset-level updates while ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
• Manage multiple priorities simultaneously, meet service level agreements, and maintain adherence to department policies and regulatory requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Required

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor''s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; or two years of equivalent experience in a finance-related role
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, including filtering and sorting functions
• Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and solid work ethic

Nice to Have

Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Microsoft Access
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• Basic understanding of regulatory and accounting principles impacting Wealth Management & Investment Services
• Ability to quickly learn custody operations, systems, procedures, products, and services
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong computer navigation skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
