Part-Time Controller

This is a part-time on-site role for a Controller at Grebe's Bakery in West Allis, WI. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial activities, preparing financial reports, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, the Controller will manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This is a hybrid role.

• Provides leadership in the development of short and long-term strategic financial objectives
• Drive accounting and financial process improvement; create reports that help executives understand company financials.
• Provide forward-looking financial analysis, create budgets and forecasts.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
• Evaluate and advise on the impact of introducing new programs, products, and strategies.
• Support company in managing banking, insurance and other key business partner relationships.
• Supervision of the AR/AP position
• End of month closing
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards.

• Ultimate team player, able to multitask with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Self-starter, that can work independently and part of the team
• Ethical approach: desire to be accurate and transparent with work produced
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• College degree or equivalent work experience in accounting
• Cost accounting experience in manufacturing industry
• Experience in financial project management
  
  Understanding of financial data analysis and reporting.
• Advanced computer skills;
  Experience with Quick Books or other AR/AP software, Excel
• Knowledge of payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Understanding of applicable laws and regulations
