Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Consumer Finance Associate with 3-4 years of relevant experience to join its Financial Regulatory practice in Milwaukee, WI. The candidate will counsel various financial entities on federal and state financial laws and regulations.
Duties- Counsel banks, credit unions, and Fin Techs on financial laws.
- Advise on compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct financial regulatory and state licensing analyses.
- Draft and negotiate contracts and lending documents.
- Assist with regulatory enforcement investigations.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in financial regulatory practice.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to client service and teamwork.
JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
Certifications- Active member in good standing of the Bar where admitted.
- Timely admission to the Bar of the state where the hiring office is located.
- Experience with regulatory interpretation and compliance.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
