Chief Financial Officer

CLA is looking to hire a Chief Financial Officer with manufacturing industry experience for our growing Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) group based in Milwaukee or Racine, WI.

Responsibilities include performing CFO functions as part of the client's accounting services team, being accountable for identifying and implementing best practices, working with clients to set financial policy, driving capital planning, risk management, ratio and KPI analysis, leading financial administration, planning, and budgeting, overseeing longer-term budget planning and cost management, monitoring progress of budgets and presenting operational metrics, ensuring financial staff maintains financial record systems, managing cash flow and forecasting, coordinating audit activities, managing multiple client engagements, building strong client relationships, and developing key external business networks.

Job requirements include 8 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience, relevant manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred, knowledge of Quick Books is highly preferred, prior project management and client management experience is preferred but not required, comfortable in a fast-paced environment and skilled in multitasking, a bachelor's degree is required (preferably within accounting, finance, or related field), CPA certification is preferred but not required, and this position works primarily in-office, as well as frequent local travel to/from client sites and may require occasional non-local or overnight travel for client visits, training, meetings, and/or other business-related purposes.
