Financial Analyst (Temp or Temp to Hire

Financial Analyst

We're partnering with a privately held company just north of downtown Milwaukee that is looking to add a Financial Analyst to its team in either a temporary or temp to hire capacity. This is a hands-on, highly visible opportunity working closely with senior leadership and supporting financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and business analysis across the organization. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, audit, or similar experience and enjoys digging into data, building reports, and helping leaders understand business performance.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare recurring daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational reports and dashboards
• Analyze sales, financial, and operational performance and communicate key trends
• Develop and maintain KPIs used by leadership to monitor business performance
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Prepare ad hoc financial analysis to assist with business decisions
• Assist with monthly management and board reporting
• Work with data across multiple ERP and financial systems
• Help enhance reporting and business intelligence capabilities, including Power BI
• Support the month-end close process as needed
• Assist with financial modeling, due diligence, and integration work related to M&A activities as capacity allows
• Partner with finance leadership and other areas of the business on special projects and analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, audit, consulting, or a related area
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial data
• Exposure to ERP systems and financial reporting tools
• Power BI experience is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable communicating financial information and findings to different audiences
• Experience with in an industrial services or manufacturing environment is helpful but not required
